This newsletter is especially meaningful to me because Guanine Medical Academy is celebrating its fifth anniversary.

I initially started Guanine Medical to build my own career as a medical writer. Soon afterward, I realized how many aspiring writers needed help understanding what medical writing really involves, who can enter the profession, and how to get started. That realization led to the creation of Guanine Medical Academy.

When I started the Academy, my goal was to make medical writing education practical and closely connected to the realities of the profession. Over the past five years, I have had the privilege of supporting medical writers at many different stages.

Thank you for reading, learning, asking thoughtful questions, and being part of this growing community. Your participation has helped shape what the Academy has become and where it will go next.

I couldn’t let this occasion pass without giving you something special as a thank-you for being here. And, of course, it's got to be educational :)
